Emmanuel Holiday Club will be "Digging into Christmas" on Thursday 20 & Friday 21 December 2018. 

Activities during the day will include Digging into the Christmas story, swimming, make your own shirt, craft, games and making new friends. There will also be singing and dancing with a professional instructor as we learn a performance piece for the Emmanuel Community Carols to be held on Sunday 23 December.

Holiday Club is open to children in Prep – Year 7 as participants, and Year 8 – 12 as young leaders. The program will be based at Emmanuel Uniting Church, 92 Laurel St and use the pool at Enoggera State School.

Children may be dropped off from 8:30am each day and the program will start at 9:00am and conclude at 2:00pm.

Participants will be assigned a small group for the two days and each group will be supervised by at least 2 small group leaders. Other Leaders and helpers will be on hand to help lead craft, dance rehearsals, swimming, and games. All leaders will work together to ensure maximum safety and enjoyment for all.

All adult leaders will hold a Blue Card and be trained in Child Safe practices. Qualified First Aid officers will be on site for the whole day and a qualified Lifeguard and extra helpers will be on duty for swimming. Parents are welcome to volunteer to help during the day and will be required to hold (or apply for) a blue card and complete some training before the event.

The cost for the program is $50 per child and includes all activities. (Early bird rate of $45 per child, if registered and paid before 21 November). Family discounts are available, please contact Jess for the discount code before registering. 

Early Bird registration and payment is due Wednesday 21 November. Registrations close Wednesday 5 December.

Payment can be made credit card, bank transfer or cash to the church office. You will receive a confirmation email and what to bring list after registration is complete.
